Junior Insight Analyst

The Role

This is an exciting time to join our team at LiveScore, where you’ll be positioned at the forefront of decision-making and strategic planning, shaping how millions of users around the globe interact with Casino. The Insights team is an integral and fast expanding department within LiveScore Group. As a Junior Insight Analyst, you will support data driven decision making across from the ground up. You’ll be empowered to make meaningful contributions, translating complex data into actionable insights that influence key business initiatives. This role will focus predominantly on the maximising commercial revenue for Casino leveraging your in-depth knowledge of the products and market. Additionally, you'll help identify growth opportunities in the casino catalogue and functionality as well as explore future avenues for monetisation. With an abundance of data at our disposal, our culture across the department is to provide the business with actionable recommendations and drive change through a vast number of analytical tools.

The ideal candidate will be an avid Casino/Gaming enthusiast with a passion for the space as well as having an analytical and commercial mindset. Experience and more importantly an appetite to learn new analytics focused languages, reporting tools and experience working on cloud-based systems specifically large complex disparate datasets is a key part of the success criteria for this role.

Key Responsibilities 

• Your time will be focused on providing insight and analysis on Casino.
• You will do this by working closely with the senior analysts on Casino and to understand their needs and requirements, as well as being proactive in using analytics to solve business problems for your stakeholders.   
• Transfer business concerns and concepts into tangible data points and metrics.
• The ability to examine and understand data from multiple sources to provide actionable insight and drive change.
• Hone your skills in condensing and navigating complex data, raising and collaborating with Data teams to find longer term solutions.
• Monitoring the performance of the business and are driven to investigating changes in core KPIs that impact the Casino business.
• Some exposure in presenting complex outputs and findings in a clear, concise, and coherent manner, as well as the ability to get buy-in from senior stakeholders across the business.
• The ability to prioritise personal tasks efficiently through understanding the business needs and value of each piece of work.
• To keep open and continuous communications with your manager and your team with regards to workload and projects.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• A strong understanding of Casino and the iGaming industry. 
• Experience in mathematical or statistical modeling, whether through education or prior work
• Experience of working with SQL/Python/R or a similar programming language, and data visualisation tooling
• Ability to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations and support/deliver regular reporting.
• Ability to learn in a fast-changing work environment, diving in to challenges and proactively providing solutions.
• Adaptable and flexible with an ability to multitask
• Ability to communicate confidently and coherently to stakeholders within the business.
• Firm believer in teamwork & collaborating together
• Open to being coached and mentored by other members of the team with a friendly and sociable nature.
