Orion Health is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Implementation Consultant to join our team based in our Madrid office. You’ll be part of a global mission to improve healthcare for everyone—by helping deliver cutting-edge software solutions to healthcare providers worldwide.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Junior Implementation Consultant, you will contribute to the configuration and implementation of Orion Health’s software solutions, supporting clients throughout their transition to “business as usual.” You’ll play an integral role in translating functional and technical requirements into configured software solutions and support their deployment in real-world healthcare settings.

You will:

·       Assist in designing, configuring, and testing software based on project requirements.

·       Participate in the full implementation lifecycle, including documentation, testing (System, Integration, and Performance), and deployment.

·       Support post-go-live maintenance and issue resolution.

·       Perform data-related tasks such as extraction, transformation, and loading using RDBMS tools.

·       Prepare and maintain technical documentation for both internal teams and clients.

·       Participate in quality, safety, environmental, and information security programs.

·       Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

·       Continuously update your knowledge through security training and best-practice learning.

Experience

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a software-related role such as a junior developer, support analyst, or intern.
  • Exposure to software development environments or system implementation projects.
  • A demonstrated interest in the software development lifecycle and client delivery.

Bonus experience (advantageous but not essential):

  • Java, JavaScript, or .NET programming languages.
  • Technologies such as HTML, SQL, XML, Internet Protocols, LINUX, or Windows.

Skills

  • Basic understanding of RDBMS and ability to perform simple data manipulation tasks.
  • Familiarity with issue tracking systems for problem management and resolution.
  • Clear and adaptive communicator who can engage with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical thinker with logical problem-solving skills and good judgment on when to escalate.

Skills Required
