Job Overview

The Junior HR Systems Analyst supports the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and integrity of employee data within Workday and other HR systems. This role serves as a key partner to HR stakeholders by ensuring employee transactions are processed accurately, maintaining high-quality workforce data, and supporting reporting and analysis needs across the organization. The position plays an important role in supporting HR operations, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives related to HR systems and data management.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gather and validate information required for employee transactions, including promotions, transfers, position changes, and other workforce updates.

  • Process and maintain employee data within Workday HCM, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and within established timelines.

  • Manage and optimize HR data by running queries, auditing records, troubleshooting data issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Maintain data integrity and consistency across Workday and other integrated systems (ex. 4Insite)

  • Support ad hoc data requests, reports, and analyses for HR leadership and business partners.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, data governance standards, and applicable data privacy regulations.

  • Assist with testing system updates, enhancements, and process improvements to support HR operations.

  • Document procedures and maintain process documentation related to HR Systems activities and data management.

  • Conduct weekly training sessions for new managers on Workday processes and self-service tasks, ensuring users understand system functionality and adhere to established procedures.

  • Facilitate recurring HR Systems office hours to provide guidance, troubleshoot issues, answer user questions, and promote effective utilization of Workday and related HR technologies.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.

0–2 years of experience in HR, HR Systems, data management, or a related analytical role.

Familiarity with Workday HCM or other HR information systems preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
