TITLE: Junior Human Resources (HR) Business Partner – Germany/Austria
LOCATION: Germany
Reporting into the HR Head of Germany and Austria, the Junior HR Business Partner is responsible for supporting a business or multiple businesses within a specific country or group of countries. You will have responsibility for managing the delivery of HR services within the assigned geography and in cooperation with the HR Business Partner and Shared People Services.
You will provide advice and counsel in areas of Human Resources including benefits and personnel administration.
You will support collaboration with Center of Excellence (“COE”) colleagues and key stakeholders as appropriate such as Legal, Finance, Talent & Capability, Real Estate and Technology on all aspects of the employee experience from sourcing talent to performance management, provide support and guidance to employees and people managers on HR matters and respond expediently as they arise.
POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Supports employees along the entire employee journey
Supports Personnel administration (creation of employment contracts, side letters, work confirmations, reference letters, etc.)
Supports the HR Business Partner in day-to-day business
Supports Ensuring that local country regulations and employment practices are adhered to
Contributes to taking the country harmonization project in Germany forward
Partners across HR Centers of Expertise (Global People Services, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition) to deliver solutions
Partners with colleagues on all aspects of the employee experience from sourcing talent to performance management
Takes care for for dual study program and contact person for dual students
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Demonstrated change management capability
Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset with focus on increasing employee engagement, building morale and improving productivity
Coaching and influencing managers with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively
Proven ability to analyse data to solve complex problems, as well as using data to quantify and measure success
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
First experiences working in the area of HR
Excellent oral and written command of English and German
Knowledgeable with Workday
