JUNIOR FASHION GRAPHIC DESIGNER (APPAREL | ALL GENDERS)
12-MONTH FIXED-TERM CONTRACT
At Zalando, we are shaping the future of fashion, and our in-house design team plays a central role in bringing our private label collections to life. We are now looking for a Junior Fashion Graphic Designer to join our creative team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse product ranges across womenswear, menswear, and kidswear while developing your skills within an international and collaborative environment.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the creation of seasonal apparel graphics, including placement prints, all-over patterns, typography, and branding elements.
Collaborate with fashion designers and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with seasonal themes, product aesthetics, and brand identity.
Support the preparation of artwork files, color separations, and technical documentation for production.
Conduct trend research, contributing to moodboards, seasonal color directions, and graphic concepts.
Participate in supplier communication to review samples and maintain design quality throughout development stages.
Help maintain and organize the digital graphic asset library and design archives.
YOUR PROFILE
Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related creative field.
Initial hands-on experience through internships, placements, or junior roles within fashion graphic design or a similar creative environment.
A strong portfolio that demonstrates your fashion graphic design skills, creative thinking, and trend awareness. Please note: applications submitted without a portfolio will not be considered.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
Interest in print techniques, fabric applications, and production processes.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to learning and development.
