This position is about visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. The talented individual in this position should take concepts/ideas and create visual representations, in both print and electronic media. You will contribute to visual storytelling that captivates, informs, and inspires audiences. Proficiency in current design software and a strong understanding of the design process—from concept to final execution—are essential.
Collaborating with teams across the company, you must be able to interpret briefs, understand project goals, conceptualize ideas, and deliver designs that resonate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating visual content for social media, websites, marketing materials, and advertisements
- Design infographics, presentations, and promotional assets to support branding and marketing campaigns
- Work on video editing projects, including short promotional clips, animations, and social media content
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm, ideate and develop new design concepts
- Ensure consistency in design across all company platforms and materials
- Stay updated on design trends and suggest fresh ideas for improving visual content
- Take feedback and iterate on designs to meet project objectives
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma and online tools like Canva
- Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design
