About this PositionWe are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our Graphic Design team.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Responsible for design and/or updating of all desktop graphics publishing jobs which include cost and non cost forms, stationery items, department forms, marketing flyers, department field bulletins and various other company forms
- Typesetting of day to day stationery orders (business cards and letterhead) proof reading and quality control
- Creating Cost item jpeg files for our online store
- Obtaining approvals and sign-offs on all desktop jobs
- Providing print job disks or files to vendors for items to be printed externally
- Coordinating with external vendors regarding job progress, completion and problem solving any issues which might arise
- Provide print lasers and generate polyester plates for items being printed
- Back up all forms and print job files on server
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education in graphic design, art, or related discipline or equivalent knowledge and work experience
- Minimum one year experience in professional desktop graphic design
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Desire to continue building skill set with education and training
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work under minimal supervision or in a team environment
- Pay attention to detail
