Conde Nast Affiliate Content team is seeking an Junior Affiliate Editor at GQ.

The position will be tasked to support the commerce content strategy for GQ, as well as authoring written reviews of consumer products, buying guides and other forms of shoppable content, all reflecting the distinctive tone of voice of GQ.

You’ll have a strategic mindset and be in tune with mens lifestyle trends and shopping habits across the year while also using data from affiliate platforms and competitor analysis to inform new content and update frequency. 

On top of the more traditional commerce galleries, you’ll seek out new ways to present commerce content, including building content franchises and dedicated deals articles.
 

In your position, you will:

• Develop high-quality ecommerce content, including buying guides, product listicles, features, news stories, and deal pages, tailored to GQ’s editorial standards and the requirements of partnering brands.
• Collaborate closely with brand editors to create fresh content and update existing material, ensuring it aligns with GQ’s voice and audience expectations.
• Work with the SEO team to ensure all content is fully optimized, enhancing visibility and performance, while developing a comprehensive content strategy across the lifestyle vertical.
• Support key shopping events like Black Friday and Amazon Prime Day through strategic planning and real-time execution, driving traffic and engagement.
• Coordinate with social media and newsletter teams to ensure shopping content, including style and grooming, is promoted effectively across all platforms.
• Leverage data-driven insights to identify content gaps and opportunities, ensuring GQ stays ahead of trends. 

You will work closely together with our local GQ Snr. Affiliate Editor in order to improve and negotiate more lucrative CPAs and product placement offers with platforms and
Essential Skills & Requirements

• Ability to write and edit clean, engaging copy without resorting to jargon

• Maintain excellent organizational skills to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Leverage content management systems to publish and update articles efficiently.

• Use analytics tools to track content performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Have a strong understanding of affiliate marketing, including linking and tracking platforms.

• Detailed knowledge of SEO principles and best SEO practice to ensure content ranks and performs well.

• Ability to lead, organise and edit the work of a team of writers and freelancers

• A knack for numbers and the ability to piece different data together to form a hypothesis as to why spikes and trends occur
