cBEYONData is seeking a skilled Junior GIS Developer to join a fully remote team in support of an enterprise ArcGIS application for a Federal customer. The program uses US zip code boundaries and geospatial data in an Oracle database to create customized boundary polygons for users. These GIS services are highly integrated with a WebFOCUS Business Intelligence platform to provide deep, holistic intelligence to a Federal agency customer.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new GIS solutions using ArcGIS Pro, Python, and JavaScript to deliver geospatial capabilities meeting business functional requirements
- Design and implement updates to existing geospatial services
- Publish and maintain Web Feature Services and Web Map Services on ArcGIS Server
- Work with Scrum Master, GIS stakeholders, and quality assurance engineers on an Agile team to develop design requirements
Requirements:
- Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance is required
- Experience: 2+ years of GIS development experience
- Good understanding of design and geoprocessing with ArcGIS Pro
- Good understanding of ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.x
- Good understanding of ArcGIS API for Python
- Basic understanding of Web Map Service and Web Feature Service
- Basic understanding of ArcGIS Server and processing of building map services
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
Preferred
- Experience integrating ArcGIS with AWS cloud environments
- Experience with enterprise Business Intelligence systems, especially WebFOCUS
- Experience working with data from Oracle databases
- Experience using Jira and/or ServiceNow
- Experience with Agile / Scrum principles
- Experience working within DoD
