The Role
Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations, post journals (accruals, payroll, bank journals), run month-end close reports, load data to corporate reporting systems, support audits, tax preparation, and respond to finance queries while applying corporate, statutory and SOX requirements.

What this job involves:
  • Preparing monthly general ledger account reconciliations as assigned, including bank reconciliations

  • Analysing P&L and Balance Sheet for posting errors, adequate accruals, and the correct application of accounting rules

  • Posting journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, deferred income, payroll, bank journals etc.

  • Running Month End Close Reports

  • Loading data to the JLL corporate reporting systems

  • Assisting with the preparation of data for tax return

  • Acting as first-line contact and support to any finance-related queries

  • Application of corporate policies and procedures as well as statutory and SOX requirements

  • Assisting with the annual audit process

  • Providing support for country finance teams in special projects


 To apply you need to be / have:

  • FLUENT spoken & written English is a must, fluency in other European languages is an advantage

  • Sound understanding of accounting principles is a must (US GAAP preferred)

  • Master’s degree in accounting or Finance recommended

  • Good MS Excel skills

  • Ability to work to a high level of accuracy and consistency

  • Ability to work within tight operational deadlines and priorities

  • Good organizational skills and problem-solving skills

  • Analytical skills

  • Operation skills-oriented on result and customer needs

  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft or other ERP package is an advantage
