Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Team Lead, Application Development, the Junior Full Stack Developer is involved in designing, coding, testing, and deploying software applications to meet business requirements. The Junior Full Stack Developer would leverage technical expertise to configure and maintain software applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining new and existing applications, systems, custom reports, and database structures.
- Participate in requirement analysis along with Business Analysts and business users.
- Design and develop various modules under guidance and work with other developers and IT staff as required.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code that adheres to security standards, team coding standards, and best practices.
- Assist in developing and designing database schema, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
- Develop and test simple features and bug fixes. Debug applications with the guidance of senior developer.
- Support front end integrations.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback.
- Use version control system.
- Assist in build and deployment process.
- Support CI/CD pipeline activities.
- Help maintain test and development environments.
- Provide Production and End User Support Activities as needed.
- Assist in estimating effort involved in completing various development tasks.
- Plan and prioritize assigned activities.
- Report activities and progress to management and senior team members on a regular basis.
- Work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a team environment.
- Create and update system and API documentation and design specifications.
- Research and learn new and existing technologies to meet business needs, including assisting with prototypes and solution designs.
- Perform tasks as required by management/supervisory staff.
- Provide support after hours or on weekends for emergency issues and production releases as required.
Qualifications (Competencies):
- 0–3 years of professional experience in designing/developing software applications (internships and academic projects may be considered).
- Basic understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented design principles.
- Experience or coursework in building and consuming REST APIs (GraphQL is a plus).
- Experience or academic exposure to HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and at least one modern framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database design concepts.
- Experience or academic exposure to C# and the .NET framework (knowledge of Java or Python is a plus).
- Understanding of web application development concepts.
- Exposure to cloud services (Azure preferred; AWS or Google Cloud is a plus).
- Basic understanding of authentication/authorization concepts (OAuth, JWT, SSO).
- Ability to work with business analysts and business users in a team environment.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Experience or familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint and/or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.

Education:
