As our operations continue to grow, we are looking for a Junior Financial Controller to join our Finance & Accounting Team in Gdańsk and support financial reporting, planning, and analysis activities across our international business structure.

Your responsibilities

As a Junior Financial Controller, you will support financial decision-making by ensuring high-quality reporting and analyses across multiple international entities. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting monthly financial reporting processes for international entities.
  • Assisting in the preparation of management reports in accordance with local accounting requirements and US GAAP.
  • Analyzing financial performance and variances against Budget, Forecast, and prior-year results.
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Cooperating with local finance teams and external accounting providers across different countries.
  • Verifying the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data.
  • Supporting internal controls and ensuring compliance with Group policies.
  • Participating in the preparation of financial analyses and management presentations.
  • Supporting internal and external audit processes.
  • Contributing to process improvement and reporting standardization initiatives.
  • Collaborating closely with accounting and business teams to deliver reliable financial information.
  • Preparing ad hoc reports, analyses, and financial insights as required.
What we're looking for
  • 1-3 years of experience in controlling, accounting, audit, or financial analysis.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Initial experience in budgeting, forecasting, or management reporting would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and collaboration.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Polish language proficiency.
  • Experience with NetSuite will be considered an asset.
