Let’s start with the role:

We are currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Financial Analyst Intern to join our Finance team in Athens. Your mission will be to support financial analysis and reporting while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

As a Junior Financial Analyst you will:

• Record accurate journal entries as part of the monthly bookkeeping process
• Compile and analyze financial data to prepare entries for General Ledger (GL) accounts
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements
• Perform monthly reconciliations of the General Ledger with bank statements
• Upload monthly payroll files and monitor employee advances
• Support audit activities by providing required documentation and financial information

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field - no internship eligibility required
• Fluency in Greek and English
• You're comfortable with digital tools, especially when it comes to working with Excel
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and derive solutions from data
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
