About the role .
As a Junior Financial Accountant (m, w, x), you will be performing activities for the Order to Cash department (Accounts Receivable and/or Trade Spend) in compliance with legal regulations.
You will be part of a multi-regional accounting team, responsible for analyzing and recording incoming payments to appropriate accounts, resolving disputes and unapplied cash issues, and monitoring customer accounts to minimize overdue invoices.
Your role will involve close collaboration with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Vistex, and Credit Control, to manage cross-departmental tasks such as deductions, claims, and collections.
This role is based out of one of our Employee Experience Centers - Bielany Wrocławskie in a hybrid work setting, where two days a week will be spent in the office.
Report to: AR Team Leader / Trade Spend Manager
What you'll be doing.
- Daily cash application tasks: booking incoming payments, booking FI invoices
- Executing outgoing payments and Direct Debits
- Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via e-mail for overdue invoices
- Handling customer inquiries, mailbox management
- Unapplied cash management, explaining discrepancies, follow up on internal deduction process
- Posting invoices and customer settlement documents, taking into account the terms of promotional programs and local market requirements.
- Verifying the accuracy of data in the system and clarifying basic discrepancies related to customer settlements.
- Cooperating with sales teams and internal departments in the ongoing handling and settlement of promotional claims.
What you'll need to be successful.
- Master's degree in finance/accounting/controlling also we are open to students
- Basic knowledge of accounting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Accuracy, punctuality, good work organization and teamwork
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Good knowledge of Excel and MS Office tools
- Fluent in English and Polish
- Additional language nice to have (French, Italian, Dutch, German, Spanish)
- 1-2 years of experience in SSC, preferably in receivables or payables departments nice to have.
