About this role:

This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to financial reporting, analysis, and core accounting processes while building the skills needed for long-term career growth. You will gain practical experience across budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, while working closely with cross-functional teams and contributing to real business outcomes.

Your day-to-day:

• Assist in developing and maintaining financial models, scorecards, and dashboards that analyze, report, and forecast performance indicators, revenues, and expenses in support of financial results and presentations.
• Design and prepare periodic and ad hoc financial reporting, PowerPoint presentations, and financial analysis.  Evaluate relevant business matters and incorporate the most pertinent topics in reporting and presentations.
• Represent Finance on cross-functional project teams as assigned. Analyze, collect, and assemble information deemed necessary to represent a variety of different courses of business directions and provide recommendations to management.
• Analyze, reconcile, and research monthly budget variances. Design and develop new methods of financial projections to minimize and alleviate variances.
• Understand and apply fundamental concepts, general administrative principles, practices, and procedures of finance or accounting with the goal of organizational value creation.
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and transaction reports.
• Assist in supporting the financial cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support long-term planning.
• Support the creation and maintenance of databases and reports, and run queries as needed.
• Ensuring transactions are properly recorded and reported through the QuickBooks accounting software system;
• Preparing and reconciling bank statements and accounts;
• Preparing and processing payments
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and transaction reports;
• Preparing, scanning, and archiving expense reports

• Excellent academics in Finance;
• Ability to take on responsibilities and work with minimal supervision;
• Ability to work on multiple projects;

• Strong technical aptitude; 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
• Fluent in English
