JUNIOR EXECUTIVE - VESSEL OPERATIONS
Job Responsibilities
Coordinate with local authorities / approvals such as inward and outward clearance documentation for vessels calls are carried out for vessels to enter and depart (uninterrupted).
Ensure uninterpreted cargo discharging / loading arrangements are for smooth operation while at berth by coordinate closely with Maldives Port Limited (MPL) and customs.
Coordinate with principals / agents to ensure smooth vessel operation to meet deadlines
Liaise with relevant parties and coordinate on vessel related special requirements as per the guidelines and regulations.
Monitor vessel’s actual performance against declared performance in CP terms using reports form agents and authorities.
In non-line shipping activities, cross check post fixture activities with SOF to ensure adherence.
Accurate invoices need to be sent to customers in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate equipment inventory and update principal systems timely, coordinate with principals and port authorities to arrange timely evacuation of empties to avoid extra storage charges.
Coordinate with Maldives Port Limited (MPL) to release the containers out of port, and coordinate with customers for return of the containers on timely manner after usage.
Candidate Profile
Three passes at the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination or an equivalent qualification.
Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or an equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum of one year of experience in a similar field.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
