Electrical EngineerDue to continued growth and project wins we are looking for a Electrical Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Perth to provide support to resource, infrastructure, port and defence projects.
Position Overview:
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in preparing electrical designs for LV and MV power systems, including creating drawings such as single lines, layouts, GAs, and cable schedules.
- Perform basic electrical calculations like maximum demand, cable sizing, and equipment selection under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Support the development of engineering documents, including design reports, scopes of work, equipment schedules and drawing registers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal and external project teams and help coordinate drafting throughout the design process.
- Occasional site visits during design, construction and commissioning stage.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- Previous experience (2 to 3 years or more) in electrical engineering within the transport (road/rail), infrastructure, or resources sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Experience with industry-standard software packages such as AGi32, PowerCAD and AutoCAD will be highly regarded.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexible, adaptable, and passion for continuous professional growth.
- Australian Citizenship preferred with the ability to obtain Defence clearance.
