The Role
Tagup is a defense AI company combining expert knowledge with artificial intelligence to revolutionize military logistics. Tagup's AI software directly controls large-scale industrial equipment and logistics systems, ensuring our customers get the best performance they can. As a rapidly scaling AI/ML technology company, we are looking to expand our team.
We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will help design and development of Tagup’s product interfaces. You'll collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to translate ideas into polished, user-friendly digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation and refinement of design concepts, mockups, and prototypes for our digital products.
- Produce responsive designs that are user-friendly and visually compelling.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate user requirements and technical specifications into design deliverables.
- Contribute to UX research activities including user interviews, usability testing, and analysis of user feedback to inform design decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience (internships or freelance experience are acceptable).
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Material UI.
- Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive web design.
- Experience or interest in working within software development cycles, collaborating with developers, and understanding front-end capabilities
- Strong visual design skills and an eye for detail, typography, layout, and color theory.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate your design rationale.
- A portfolio demonstrating relevant design work and problem-solving skills is required.
Nice to Have
- Experience or interest in enterprise software, defense technology, or logistics software.
- Familiarity with design systems, accessibility standards, and user-centered design methodologies.
- Experience or interest in AI technology, analytics, or enterprise software.
- Experience with Webflow or similar web-building tools.
- Basic knowledge of frontend frameworks like React.
