H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking a Junior Database Developer to provide support to the Littoral Combat Ship Squadron TWO (LCSRON TWO) Mayport, FL in Jacksonville, FL. The Junior Database Developer will provide database support for all databases within the environment.
The Junior Database Developer responsibilities will include:
- Perform database design and creation for metrics analysis, technical multi-user web-based (Microsoft Access, SharePoint, SQL or similar) systems.
- Provide database subject matter expertise
- Collaborate with other Subject Matter Experts to perform duties and provide solutions.
- Assist with the development of qualitative and quantitative reports, graphs, and charts that evaluate and measure the effectiveness of appropriate data collection, analysis, objectives and goals including trends, ranked items by performance, cycle time and analytical support for decisions and briefs.
- Provide guidance and recommendations in the design and development of tools, processes, metrics, and reports to meet the business needs.
- Provide solutions that convey complex analysis in easy-to-understand methods like graphs, charts, and tables.
- Performing database administration, database design, and SQL programming.
- Managing SQL Server databases, performing troubleshooting, planning, testing, and executing database backup and recovery strategies.
- Database administration of the centralized SQL database environment
Required Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science or Information Systems from an accredited United States University OR equivalent military OR commercial experience in database development or computer related fields.

- Must have a DoD Final Secret Security Clearance
