The role:

This role provides support to the data maintenance team. The main area of focus is updating matters on a daily basis in terms of rates, currency, vat, address details (customer maintenance).

  • Monitoring and quality check of data entered to the system.
  • Applying rates based on client agreements.
  • Ensuring that the data (regarding clients, matters, timekeepers, charge out rates and budgets) are up to date in in the system.
  • Contacting secretaries and partners in case of any clarification needed regarding matter set up.
  • Supporting and participating in internal projects.
  • Supporting billing and revenue team ad hoc.
  • Providing general assistance to the Revenue Manager with ad hoc project work, as and when required.
  • Complying with the firm's policies and any other legal obligations, and effectively manage risks to the firm where those risks relate to this role.
Requirements

About you

  • Background in finance.
  • Ability to work two days a week from the DBSE office located in Warsaw. (Non-negotiable)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task particularly when working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Able to interact positively at all levels and a good team player.
  • Methodical approach to work with a strong focus on accuracy and details.
  • Confident using MS Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Flexible and prepared to work additional hours at month, quarter, and year ends (if required).
  • As this position is dedicated to the UK market, the standard working hours are 9.30 to 17.45 and the UK calendar of bank holidays applies.
