We are seeking a Jr. Data Modeler with strong hands-on experience in cloud data platforms to join our growing data architecture team. This role will be responsible for designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models across multiple platforms including SQL Data Warehouses, Spark, Databricks Delta Lakehouse, and other modern cloud-native environments. The ideal candidate will combine deep domain knowledge (Customer, Sales, Finance, Supplier) with technical expertise to create scalable and reusable data models that power enterprise analytics and data products.

• Expertise in data modeling tools (ER/Studio, Erwin, IDM/ARDM models, CPG / Manufacturing/Sales/Finance/Supplier/Customer domains )
• Experience with at least one MPP database technology such as Databricks Lakehouse, Redshift, Synapse, Teradata, or Snowflake.
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub and deployment & CI tools.
• Experience of metadata management, data lineage, and data glossaries is a plus.
• Working knowledge of agile development, including DevOps and DataOps concepts.

• Working knowledge of SAP data models, particularly in the context of HANA and S/4HANA, Retails Data like IRI, Nielsen Retail.
  Responsibilities
  Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for SQL Data Warehouse, Spark, Delta Lakehouse, and other cloud data platforms.

• Govern data modeling standards, metadata documentation, and database object creation for baseline and funded projects.
• Develop deep business domain expertise (Customer, Sales, Finance, Supplier) to drive reusable, business-aligned solutions.
• Lead design and code reviews for data models, security, and data product development.
• Work across structured, unstructured, analytical, and low-latency data (including SAP).
• Build cloud-centric, reusable data models using code-first approaches.
• Collaborate with data stewards on discovery, lineage, and stakeholder engagement.
• Support data analysis, sourcing, profiling, and transformation.
• Define Source-to-Target Mappings (STTM) for ETL/BI teams.
