Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to process large volumes of data from multiple sources (listings, user behavior, transactions, etc.).
• Support data integration from third-party sources, API feeds, and internal databases.
• Work with structured and unstructured data, ensuring data consistency and availability for analytics teams.
• Assist in optimizing data warehouses (BigQuery).
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to enable personalization, pricing intelligence, and fraud detection.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline failures, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Document data processes, data schemas, and workflow automation.
• Support the implementation of data security and governance best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar) for querying and managing databases.
• Experience with Python, Scala, Java, or Golang for data processing and automation.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and experience with data pipeline tools (Apache Airflow).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud) for data engineering tasks.
• Basic knowledge of data modeling and database management (SQL & NoSQL).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
