Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development and Support 
• Data Quality and Validation 
• Operational Monitoring and Incident Resolution 
• Data Integration 
• Testing and Deployment 
• Documentation and Knowledge Management 
• Engineering Standards, Security, and Governance 
• Performance and Continuous Improvement 
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Support 

Requirements:

• Assisting in the development, testing, and maintenance of data pipelines. 

• Extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple source systems. 

• Monitoring scheduled data-processing jobs and resolving basic failures. 

• Performing data-quality checks to ensure data is accurate, complete, and consistent. 

• Supporting the integration of data from databases, files, APIs, and cloud platforms. 

• Writing and optimizing basic SQL queries and transformation scripts. 

• Investigating data issues and escalating complex problems to senior engineers. 

• Maintaining technical documentation for pipelines, datasets, and operational procedures. 

• Following coding, testing, security, and data-governance standards. 

• Participating in code reviews, team meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions. 

• Supporting production releases and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Developing technical skills under the guidance of senior data engineers.
