What will you be doing?
Your work will be centered around analyzing data for warehouse activities, identifying patterns to optimize picking planning, transport scheduling, resource allocation, and helping to prevent disruptions in the flow of goods. By providing insights and solutions based on data, you'll contribute to efficient, streamlined operations and ensure that our warehouse runs like clockwork with reduced lead time and minimized costs.
You will report directly to the Team Lead Planning & Scheduling and work closely together with the Process Engineer of Physical Distribution.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and patterns in warehouse operations.
- Providing actionable insights to improve planning, resource allocation forecasts and scheduling efficiency.
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations.
- Share insights with the Team Lead Planning & Scheduling and other stakeholders to support decision-making and long-term planning.
What we ask from you
- (Nearly) completed HBO or WO degree in a technical, logistics, or business-related field.
- Customer-focused with a hands-on mentality and strong communication skills.
- Having a high level of curiosity to understand the ‘why’ behind processes.
- Strong eagerness to learn, improve and continuously pursue enhancements in your environment.
- A strong knowledge or interest in simplifying large amounts of data, along with advanced proficiency in Power BI and other tools within MS Power Platform, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to transfer data to presentable insights.
- Fluent in Dutch and English languages, written and verbally.
About the team
As an integral part of the Physical Distribution department, the Planning & Scheduling department is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the smooth flow of operations across the warehouse. The Planning & Scheduling team focuses on stock availability, planning and prioritization of shipments, scheduling picking tasks, as well as developing loading schedules. This ensures that warehouse activities are synchronized, resources are optimally allocated, and any potential disruptions are minimized, leading to a more efficient and streamlined operation.

This position offers a competitive salary of € 3189 (Bachelor level) or € 3546 (Master level) gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Relevant working experience will be taken into consideration as well.
