We are seeking a talented individual to join our MMB Analytics team at Marsh. This role will be based in Cluj, Romania. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
You will join a growing analytics team that delivers data-driven solutions and insights for internal stakeholders and clients. In this role you will help build and maintain analytics solutions, produce regular reports, contribute to design and product improvements, and act as an analytics expert to drive competitive advantage for the business and our clients.
We will count on you to:
- Deliver operationalised analytics and client-facing reports that meet stakeholder requirements.
- Develop and document an understanding of our data structures and the insights they can provide.
- Apply front-end development and design best practices to improve dashboards and user experience.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to implement and test product and data improvements.
- Investigate reported product issues and propose practical fixes to improve reliability and usability.
- Present data visually to highlight trends, narratives, and actionable recommendations for business users.
What you need to have:
- 1–2 years’ experience in analytics or a related role with demonstrated delivery of analytics solutions and reports that impact business outcomes.
- Experience with relational databases, basic ETL concepts, and using database tools/SQL to extract and prepare data.
- Hands-on experience with data visualisation/dashboarding tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, Power BI) and familiarity with standard analytics methods (pivot tables, lookups); strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort engaging with non-technical stakeholders.
