OVERVIEW
ISS STOXX is hiring! The Ballot Ingestion team is chiefly responsible for the accurate and timely entry of non-electronic ballots into our proprietary systems. ISS can receive ballots in various forms (mail, email, fax, direct request, etc.), and the Ballot Ingestion team monitors a number of daily reports in order to identify and resolve these ballots. Analysts also work with internal and external groups to improve application functionality, operational efficiency, and communication between all involved parties with regards to the proxy voting process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor the processes by which information and data are added to or exported from production systems through electronic data feeds and other media.
Maintain data to ensure quality of mission critical information using both proprietary applications and commonly used business software applications.
Work with account managers and client on boarding to ensure that required client data is received in a timely and high-quality manner.
Ensure comprehensive audit trails are in place for data that is received from or sent to production systems.
Support development of training documentation and systems to support growing team.
In addition to the above operations responsibilities, the following activities are representative of the different functions for the team:
Voting Operations – Ballot Ingestion:
Monitor and resolve all ballot entry related issues within ISS systems.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for receipt and entry of non-electronic ballots.
Coordinate with our Client Service teams to ensure that entry requests related to proxy voting and record keeping are efficiently resolved.
Responsible for operations specific Key Performance Indicators.
Timely resolution of workflow related processes and internal questions.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Training & Experience:
Bachelors’ degree in Business, Finance, Economics or any equivalent/related course
This is an entry-level position. Fresh graduates or no work experiences are encouraged to apply.
Strong data entry skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge and experience in using MS Office
Advance knowledge in MS Excel is a plus, but not required
Knowledge in SQL is a plus, but not required
Ability to work within a team-oriented environment
Strong skills in problem solving
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Work Location & Schedule:
Will work on a Traditional Shift Schedule (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, PHT)
Amenable to work beyond traditional working hours/days as required by the business.
Must be willing to work onsite five (5) days a week for the first two (2) months. After this period, a hybrid set-up (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) may be offered based on performance and manager’s assessment.
