Currently, bbf: is expanding its internal team and seeking a Junior Cost Controller to join our Financial Department.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Project Costs & Budgeting Control
- Control project costs and budgeting,
- Analyze variances in forecasted profits and expenses,
- Allocate costs to categories,
Data Management & Reporting
- Gather, validate, and incorporate data into project cost reports,
- Document changes in project scope or contracts,
- Prepare cash outflows and other financial projections,
Construction Progress & Issue Resolution
- Track document construction progress,
- Assist in the resolution of construction issues/conflicts,
- Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure proper cost reporting and control,
Financial Coordination
- Align cost reports with financial statements and schedules in coordination with the Accounting department,
- Verify invoices from contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers,
- Process and control Payment schedules and Payment Approvals.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering QS, or similar field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in cost control, accounting, or similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP Business One is as advantage.
- Strong time management skills; ability to plan and manage multiple site priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Greek and English.
