As a Junior Controller you will join our Financial Controlling team in Helsinki. The team consists of eight financial controllers who lead the company’s financial closing and controlling activities, ensuring compliance with both internal and external financial regulations. In addition, the team actively develops systems and processes to support robust financial management and enhance operational efficiency.

Join us as a Junior Controller and this is some of what you’ll be doing:

As a Junior Controller you will be working on various tasks within financial reporting and analysis. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Sharing ownership of the revenue recognition process
• Financial analysis of customer contracts
• Assisting with group financials and audit process
• Participating in internal controls and external reporting needs
• Working in close relation with the business control team on different reporting assignments
• Cooperating in development projects related to financial management, for example developing systems and processes

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Relevant studies / Master’s degree (e.g., accounting, finance)
• At least 2-3 years of professional work experience in a comparable role, like controller, bookkeeper, auditor
• Good knowledge of financial processes and different accounting principles, IFRS is considered an advantage
• You have a service- and solution-oriented attitude and drive to solve any challenges in great collaboration with the stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and under pressure, but with great support from team members. Fluency with IT systems: ability to learn new tools and software quickly, good skills in MS Excel. Working knowledge of Netsuite is an advantage.
• You are fluent in English and have great written communication skills.
