How will you make an impact?
Reporting to our Senior Director of Legal, SEAT, you will provide legal advice and support crucial to our South East Asia Taiwan business operations. This role is remarkable as it exposes you to a variety of legal matters and markets, allowing you to develop a comprehensive understanding of regional legal intricacies.
What will you do?
You will undertake a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Drafting and reviewing a broad range of commercial contracts
- Providing advice on legal, compliance, and regulatory matters, such as government contracts, marketing, competition law, anti-bribery, fraud, and data privacy
- Supporting and resolving commercial disputes with customers and suppliers
- Managing legal and compliance risk by reviewing policies, procedures, and delivering training programs
- Providing legal support for marketing, communications, procurement, e-commerce functions, and corporate communications
- Supporting cross-functional projects and initiatives across the region
- Delivering training on commercial contracts, product liability, government contracts, anti-bribery, and marketing compliance

Additionally, you will have:
- Bachelor of Law Degree and registration to practice law in Malaysia
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally in both private practice and in-house corporate settings
- Experience with cross-border transactions and regional legal issues
- Expertise in some legal and compliance areas such as government contracts, competition law, marketing, anti-bribery, product liability, and data privacy
- Proven ability to manage large and small scale legal matters and projects
- Capability to apply technical skills in a commercial context to reach effective solutions
- Experience in regulated industries like medical device manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or hospital sectors is a plus
