About This Role:

We are looking for a Junior Community Support Specialist to join our Hotukdeals Community Support team in the UK (remote). At Atolls, your role will be instrumental in supporting our Deals Community, helping people find the right products that fit both their needs and their budget, while creating exceptional user experiences and empowering consumers to make informed and confident shopping decisions.

As a key part of our team, you’ll be directly involved in supporting and enhancing the digital destinations our users rely on throughout their shopping journeys. Your contributions will help shape how millions of consumers interact with our platforms, guiding them to make smart, fair, and rewarding choices.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Actively support the community on Hotukdeals and moderate user posts
  • Participate in forum discussions, ensuring interactions remain objective and factual
  • Contribute to fostering an engaging community and increasing participation
  • Assist new members in finding their way around our site
  • Support users with understanding community and platform guidelines, helping ensure they are understood and followed.

Working Hours & Schedule:

  • This is a full-time remote role (40 hours per week), working five days a week.
  • The role follows a shift-based schedule, with regular days off on Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Shifts are in the afternoon to evening, for example 13:00 - 21:00. Exact shift times will be confirmed during the hiring process.
  • You’ll be expected to be online and responsive during scheduled shifts.

Your Profile:

We’re looking for someone with interest in gain experience, who is dedicated to creating exceptional user experiences and driving innovation.

  • Passionate about providing friendly, accurate support and contributing to a seamless community experience.
  • Well organised, with strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Comfortable working during scheduled shifts and staying online and responsive throughout
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to monitor live content and follow community guidelines consistently
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills

Bonus points if: 

  • Experience supporting online communities or forums
  • An understanding of moderation processes and handling member messages, reports, and user-generated content
  • A calm, professional approach to resolving challenging interactions
