Junior Cloud Engineer

Position Overview:
This is a Junior role.
The Azure Developer will work to develop and maintain web and Windows applications for both internal users and external constituents. Key responsibilities include designing and coding new applications, interfacing with Cloud Services, and supporting Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). 
Required Skills:

• 3 years of documented Azure experience with the ability to work independently on complex tasks
• 3 years of strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• 3 years of proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, Java, or Node.js.
• 3 years of experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep for provisioning cloud resources.
• 3 years of knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and GitHub actions.
• 3 years of working knowledge of Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
• 3 years of experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and storage solutions.
• 3 years of understanding of identity management (Azure AD, RBAC, OAuth, etc.), networking security, and compliance best practices.
• 3 years of proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and working with API management.
• 3 years of experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• 3 years of strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• 3 years of ability to work in Agile teams and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• 3 years of familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a DevOps culture.

Preferred Skills:

• 3 years of Azure certifications like AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate) or AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert) are highly desirable.

Duties:

• Collaborate with contractors and staff to develop and maintain web and Windows applications for internal users and external constituents.
• Design and code new applications, focusing on Cloud Services and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) integration.
• Work with Business Analyst, Application Architect, and Development Team to ensure design and code meet customer requirements.
• Support maintenance, enhancements, and development of existing applications.
• Interface with SaaS and Cloud service providers as needed.
• Utilize technologies including C#, .NET Framework & Core, MVC & WebForms, Web Services, SQL, Git, and JavaScript.
• Use tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, and ensure application security best practices.
• Apply mobile and responsive design methodologies, if applicable.
