Role and Responsibilities
You will be part of Samsung Electronics Europe Logistics B.V. (SELS) of which the main office is located in Delft. SELS is the Central European logistics organization of Samsung Electronics, which functions as a logistics and financial control tower within SEC Europe, with a focused role in logistics & supply chain strategy, innovation and monitoring. SELS has approximately 120 employees divided over various department.
As Logistics Claims Controller, you will be mainly responsible for supporting the Claims and Insurance Team with handling all logistics claims of Samsung (sales) subsidiaries in Europe as efficient and effective as possible.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Resolve logistics claims for Samsung Electronics;
- Follow progress in the claim process to receive compensation from logistics service provider and/or insurance company;
- Validate logistics claims and incidents that occurred throughout the entire supply chain;
- Communication and cooperation with logistics service provider, insurance and European Samsung sales subsidiaries;
- Report and sense possible claim trends via data analysis;
- Escalate substantial claims to Head of Department;
- Analyze potential risks and report problem areas to the Head of the Department;
Skills and Qualifications
Who we are looking for:
- 1+ years working experience in the logistics area;
- Experience with and knowledge of logistics processes;
- Advanced level of Excel and other MS office applications;
- Strong communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus;
