Junior Category Manager Small Format
The main goal of the role is to be a strategic partner to our clients to give reliable and consumer oriented recommendation resulted in total category growth.
Main responsibilities
- Building long term relationship with key customers behind: strong business recommendation proven by sales results.
- Influencing Key Customer on their assortment, promotional and strategy decisions, based on analytical facts
- Deep analysis of brand performance and being expert of the market drivers and trends
- Identify business opportunities and preparing sales recommendation based on channel and customer specific including in store recommendations (shelf, assortment, planogram) based on Image recognition analytics
- Preparing and presenting analytical driven recommendations for clients, portfolio review process with customers and preparing planograms
- Close cooperation with all other key MDLZ business functions (Finance, Marketing, Category Development, Shopper insights)
- Setting up and executing the annual plan of category management projects in cooperation with Senior Key Account Managers
- Support for Channel Development Manager in volume and budget planning for Small Format channel
- Management and tracking of team budget according to Mondelez procedures
- Successful cooperation within category development team of 4 people, with good spirit supporting each other on different projects
Requirements:
- University degree and minimum 3-year experience in FMCG or consulting company, category management (Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Analytical departments)
- Experience in Category Management is highly preferred
- Persuasiveness, communication, negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and presentation skills and ability to sell ideas
- Thorough knowledge of market, competitive environment, products and customers in all MDLZ categories
- Very good communication of English and Polish (both written and spoken)
- Excellent communication and organization skills to manage multiple tasks
- Advanced Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Knowledge of Image Recognition methodology
- Familiarity with market data and tools (Nielsen, Spacemen, Focus) would be an advantage
