Junior Buyer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Buyer. In this role, you will coordinate with daily purchasing operation activities, execute timely order placements, and ensure PO data accuracy. We are looking for someone who is always curious about finding opportunities to improve processes and system operations. How You’ll Make a Difference:
Enable SBC to order and ship products on time to support our global planning teams.
PO Operations:
• Ensure timely order placements and routine tracking of order status and shipment arrangements.
• Coordinate with the purchasing activities for bikes and equipment, from order placement with vendors to scheduled delivery dates.
• Manage the daily operations of PO confirmations, modifications, and shipments with vendors and Specialized markets.
• Verify data accuracy between vendors and the system to ensure up-to-date information is reflected correctly in Oracle.
Inventory Control:
• Ensure accurate inventory levels at our local warehouse.
• Maintain correct data details for inventory and systems.
Communication:
• Communicate frequently with internal SBC teams across various departments, including supply planning, supply chain, product, logistics, and markets.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure successful PO operations.
• Stay on top of any issues related to unit prices, order restrictions, and act as the point of contact for domestic and overseas suppliers.
What You Need to Succeed:
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience with Oracle systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel, with a focus on data analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Strong desire to work in a multicultural team environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes or materials is a plus.
• Experience in bike or bike component purchasing is a plus.
• Familiarity with logistics processes is a plus.
