About the Function

This role sits within the Commercial Business Unit and reports to the Business Process Planning & Control Manager.

Our Commercial organisation is a dynamic and rapidly evolving part of the business, offering significant opportunities for learning, development and cross-functional exposure.

The role works closely with teams across the organisation to strengthen business processes, planning, governance and operational performance. It will play an important part in ensuring our commercial organisation has the processes, controls and insights required to execute effectively and support sustainable growth.

About the Role

The Business Processes, Planning, Support & Control role is responsible for helping build a stronger operational foundation across the Indonesia organisation.

You will support and own critical end-to-end business processes, integrated operational planning, governance and controls, performance management and continuous improvement.

Working cross-functionally, you will ensure that processes are clearly defined, consistently applied and continuously improved. You will also help strengthen business readiness, operational risk management and decision-making through effective governance, reporting and performance visibility.

A key part of the role will be identifying opportunities to simplify and automate the way we work, supporting digital transformation and creating better, simpler and more powerful commercial reporting and dashboards.

Top Accountabilities

• Business Process Management: Own and strengthen end-to-end business processes, develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), identify improvement opportunities and lead process standardisation across relevant functions.

• Business Planning: Lead integrated operational planning and coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual business planning. Align cross-functional priorities, monitor execution against agreed plans and support strategic initiatives and forecasting activities.

• Operational Support: Coordinate business readiness for organisational changes and facilitate cross-functional operational alignment. Support distributor claims, validation and payment processes while ensuring issues are effectively escalated and resolved.

• Business Control & Governance: Design and monitor operational controls, strengthen policy and compliance adherence, maintain governance documentation and monitor operational risks. Coordinate audit readiness and ensure corrective actions are appropriately tracked and closed.

• Performance Management: Establish and monitor operational KPIs and service performance. Lead or support commercial governance meetings and operational reviews, providing clear insights to enable effective executive decision-making.

• Continuous Improvement & Digitalisation: Lead Lean and process improvement initiatives, identify automation opportunities and support digital transformation projects. Drive improvements in operational efficiency and develop simpler, more effective commercial reports and dashboards.

• Operational Frameworks & Deliverables: Develop and maintain critical business tools and frameworks, including process maps, SOPs, governance frameworks, control matrices, risk registers, RACI matrices, integrated business plans, KPI dashboards, operating calendars and other operational governance documentation.

Experience required/Skills/Capabilities/ Languages

To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:

• Relevant experience in business process management, commercial operations, business planning, operational excellence, governance or a related discipline.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, with experience documenting, standardising and improving ways of working.

• Experience coordinating business planning, performance reviews, KPIs and operational governance.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and translate insights into practical improvements.

• Experience working across functions and the ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders without necessarily having direct authority.

• Strong organisational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on agreed actions.

• A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in process simplification, automation and digital transformation.

• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the confidence to support governance discussions and senior stakeholder decision-making.

• Experience working with distributors, commercial operations or within an FMCG/consumer goods environment would be advantageous.

• Familiarity with Lean/process improvement methodologies, dashboards, reporting tools and process mapping would be beneficial.

• Strong proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional and international environment.
