Working closely with senior BI Developers, you will gain hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle of central BI products, from requirements gathering and design through to delivery, enablement, and iteration. This is a role for someone who is passionate about data visualisation, eager to develop their technical skills, and motivated to make a tangible difference through the products they help build. You will be guided and supported throughout, with clear opportunities to grow your expertise, take on increasing responsibility, and progress toward a more senior role within the pillar.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design and development of BI products including dashboards, reports, and analytical tools on the Microsoft Power Platform, working under the guidance of senior BI Developers.
Support the delivery lifecycle of central BI products, assisting with requirements gathering, development, testing, and documentation at each stage.
Collaborate with local BI teams and senior colleagues to understand business requirements and translate them into well-structured, intuitive analytics solutions.
Ensure all BI outputs are developed in line with central governance standards, the BI visual style guide, and documentation requirements.
Assist with the rollout of central BI products to local markets, supporting the preparation of enablement materials, demos, and guidance documentation.
Work closely with Analytics Engineers and senior BI Developers to understand how upstream data models and datasets are used within BI product development.
Contribute to the central reusable asset catalogue, ensuring outputs are documented and accessible for adaptation by local teams.
Participate in peer reviews of BI outputs, incorporating feedback constructively to develop technical skills and maintain quality standards.
Monitor product adoption and usage following launch, gathering feedback from stakeholders and escalating improvement suggestions to senior team members.
Promote the Intelligent Data Platform as the single source of truth, ensuring all development work sources data through the platform.
Engage actively in training, bootcamps, and mentoring programmes, taking ownership of personal development and building expertise in the tools and technologies used by the team.
Develop awareness of AI and agentic capabilities within the Microsoft ecosystem, building foundational knowledge that supports the team's evolving development approach.
Requirements:

Some practical experience with BI development, data visualisation, or analytics through employment, internships, or academic projects.
