We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Business Development Executive to join our growing sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop a career in sales within the telecoms industry.

The role will focus on speaking with warm customers and existing contacts, verifying contract end dates, building relationships, and identifying future opportunities. You will receive ongoing coaching, support, and product training with a clear development pathway into a fully-fledged Business Development Executive role, where you will manage the full sales process independently.

This role would suit someone who enjoys speaking with people, is organised, curious, and eager to learn in a supportive team environment.

We would love to welcome you to our Crewe office, working hours of Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.

Job Description

  • Contact warm customer data to verify contract end dates and business information
  • Build positive relationships with customers through professional and engaging conversations
  • Develop knowledge of our full suite of telecoms products and solutions
  • Clearly explain the features and benefits of our products in a simple and customer-focused way
  • Work closely with key partners across the major mobile and telecom networks
  • Support the wider sales team by identifying qualified opportunities
  • Provide excellent after-sales service to ensure customers are fully satisfied
  • Identify opportunities for additional orders, referrals, and future business
  • Maintain accurate customer records and notes within internal systems
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and development sessions

Qualifications

  • A confident and friendly communicator who enjoys building relationships
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone and asking questions
  • Organised with good attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and enjoys working towards goals and team success
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt conversations naturally
  • Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, call centre, or sales experience would be beneficial, but is not essential
  • A team player who enjoys working in a supportive and collaborative environment
  • Professional, approachable, and customer-focused mindset
