Job Description:The Junior Business Developer supports the Business Development team in executing leasing and client relationship activities while building commercial expertise and gaining hands-on experience in business development. The role contributes to client engagement, market analysis, leasing processes, and commercial initiatives that support the organization's growth objectives.As the role develops, the Junior Business Developer progressively takes on greater responsibility, contributing to commercial negotiations, business opportunities, and strategic initiatives while developing the skills and confidence to manage increasingly complex assignments.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted point of contact for day-to-day inquiries and support.
- Monitor client needs and proactively follow up on outstanding matters to ensure a high standard of service and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the client portfolio by identifying opportunities to strengthen existing relationships and support new business initiatives.
- Partner with Property Managers, Brokers, Agents, and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver seamless client solutions.
- Support the preparation and presentation of asset performance reports, commercial updates, and client presentations.
- Contribute to the achievement of team and business development objectives through the effective delivery of commercial initiatives and assigned projects.
- Assist in planning and delivering client events, networking activities, and marketing and PR initiatives that strengthen client engagement and market presence.
- Support leasing activities by contributing to tenant retention initiatives, vacancy reduction strategies, and the acquisition of new tenants.
- Work closely with internal departments, including Controlling, Property Management, and Legal, to ensure accurate commercial information and efficient business processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information across business development systems and databases, including leasing plans, development pipelines, rent rolls, land bank records, and CRM platforms.
- Prepare commercial proposals, leasing offers, presentations, market analyses, and materials for client meetings and property tours.
- Support the preparation and implementation of new lease agreements, renewals, amendments, and other leasing documentation.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, networking functions, and client meetings to build market knowledge and professional relationships.
- Travel across the company's property portfolio to gain first-hand knowledge of assets, client requirements, and market opportunities.
- Contribute to commercial negotiations, leasing transactions, and strategic business development initiatives, progressively expanding responsibility and decision-making as expertise develops.
- Deliver commercial analyses, business cases, market research, and client recommendations that support informed decision-making and business growth.
- Continuously develop commercial, negotiation, and relationship management skills while taking on increasingly challenging projects and responsibilities.
