WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for a Junior Brand Manager to join our Marketing Ice Cream team in our Barcelona office. Together with the Marketing Manager, you will be leading the snacking initiatives for our Spain Ice Cream Business across both OOH and IH channels.
As Jr Brand Manager, you will take ownership of the full scope for the initiatives behind the cornetto brand & licenses: owning the portfolio, innovation, communication and pricing strategy for Spain. You will lead local innovation & renovation projects as well as executing global launches in Spain. You will also lead the performance analysis, and together with the Senior Brand Manager for Cornetto, you will help on crafting and delivering the strategy for the platform.
You will work hand in hand with many stakeholders – Planning, R&D, Finance, Regional & Global marketing teams and Agencies. You will also work with trade marketing teams crafting the best POS executional plans.
This role has a holistic view on innovation management, brand strategy and channel activation! You will be a key member of your brand! You will share your strategic perspective on performance and respond to category gaps or activation requirements to ensure solid results.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead business plans and brand activation for Snacking initiatives, both In-Home and Out of Home (Sandwiches, sticks, bars, bites, licenses)
- Lead P&L initiatives
- Lead Innovation & Renovation projects, both local initiatives and execution of EU plans.
- Propose brand activity and measurable objectives. Monitors brand performance and recommends solutions to meet annual targets.
- Brand audit, Jobs to be done, Activity plans, Scorecards & in-market pricing.
- Owner of Snacking budget end-to-end with project allocation decisions.
- Provides input to volume forecasting, financial updates and monitors key indicators and drivers of brand performance (6P’s).
- Actively participate in and prepare internal meetings (brand & project reviews, sales meetings, customer plans)
- Together with Senior Brand Manager, define short- & long-term strategies for the brand across the different channels, with P&L responsibility.
- Together with Trade, sets national level brand KPI’s and work on relevant plans for key customers and for both channels.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- University degree, with an emphasis in business.
- High interest in holistic marketing, innovation management and 360 brand activation.
- Proactive attitude & Doer philosophy – making things happen
- Analytical abilities to drive proper & rigorous brand analysis
- Entrepreneurial mindset and supportive team player
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- 2+ years’ experience preferrable in FMCG, particularly with exposure in Brand Building, Brand Development, Portfolio Innovation, Category Management, Trade Marketing or Sales Management.
- Proficient Level of Spanish and English is a must
