Summary
The Junior Billing Analyst will be a member of the Finance & Accounting team and report to the Finance Operation Manager. They will be responsible for assisting the rest of the billing team with monthly customer invoicing, manual submission of invoices to customer portals, recording cash receipts, monitoring the billing mailbox and responding to customer inquiries, reviewing sales contracts and inputting price plans into the billing system. They will be a stakeholder in all TeleSign’s Financial Systems and act as liaison between Finance and Customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with new account set-up in the billing system
- Assist with assigning and updating customers' price lists
- Assist with monthly customer invoicing and manual invoice submissions
- Assist with invoice dispute resolution
- Process monthly credit card payments and refunds
- Record daily cash receipts and sales adjustments
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding any billing-related concerns
- Act as liaison between Finance and Customer, involving Customer Success and Sales teams as needed
- Assist with ad hoc projects including process improvements and documentation
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance/accounting
- Excellent English written and spoken communication skills
- Must be highly organized, deadline driven and able to prioritize work assignments
- Patience, determination, professional courtesy and consistency when dealing with customers and partners
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- NetSuite, Salesforce, and/or Stripe experience
- 0-3 year of finance/accounting experience
- Familiarity with Accounting systems from an AR perspective, or financial systems analysis experience
- Good knowledge of electronic billing procedures
