MAS Legato is the Shared Services arm of MAS Holdings, focused on offering Finance and HR services across the organization. The time and operational efficiencies created through a shared services platform makes MAS Legato a critical component of MAS, as a future-ready organization.
Key Responsibilities
Actively be involved in continuous process improvement and implement the initiatives in order to drive efficiency within the team and SBUs.
Ensure all GL activities are completed on time as per the agreed deadlines in Service Level Agreement and ensure an efficient & effective closing is performed.
Ensure Standard Operation Procedures adhered
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including SBUs and suppliers to maintain a smooth flow of the process by team.
Support Senior team leads to Plan resource needs, manage workload distribution and allocate tasks to ensure optimum operation delivery.
Support the process/system developments in order to reduce lead times and meet organizational demands.
Prepare any ad hoc reports / analyses as required in order to facilitate informed decision making within the organization upon request of Senior team leads
Perform additional duties that commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by the Senior team leads
Adherence to the year-end /CSA audit compliance and timelines.
Knowledge and Skills
Pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Finance, Finance & Accounting, or Management, or a professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, CA, or an equivalent.
- Have 9–12 months or 1+ year of experience in:
- Bank Reconciliations
- Intercompany Accounting
- Journal Entry initiation & posting
- Fixed Assets
- Treasury Operations - SAP experience will be an added advantage
Strong proficiency in MS Excel
Skills Required
- Pursuing Degree/Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Management or professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CA) or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in Bank Reconciliations, Intercompany Accounting, Journal Entry initiation & posting, Fixed Assets, Treasury Operations
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience with SAP
