Under close supervision, you will classify, review and analyze accounting records, prepare tax returns, and undertake special projects as assigned, including SAF-T UA. You will also support other accounting and external reporting activities.
How you will contribute
You will:
- control VAT calculating in the Company;
- prepare VAT tax reports;
- conduct transactions in SAP for calculation of tax liabilities and tax credits;
- register tax invoices and correction of tax invoices;
- generate queries and work in the system of electronic VAT administration;
- provide VAT tax advice to employees;
- conduct financial due diligence of counterparties from open sources;
- perform special projects, including the SAF-T UA implementation project and analyses upon request;
- undergo tax documentary audits with the need to provide documentary evidence and explanations, analytical tables/data for the relevant periods;
- prepare explanations and prepare requests to the tax authorities;
- contribute to the creation of an effective control and compliance environment and adhere to AER Mondelēz International policies. You will also support audit activities and provide information as requested by the auditor;
- adopt a continuous improvement mindset. You will also identify opportunities to improve working practices in your area of responsibility;
- work as part of a high-performing Accounting and External Reporting (AER) team and invest in your personal development.
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
- TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE in accounting (SAP experience is preferred). Knowledge of regulatory policies, controls and compliance, including VAT reporting;
- BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE and experience in taxation or auditing;
- LEADERSHIP SKILLS, including strong communication skills. A team player with a drive to achieve results;
- GROWTH / DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and knowledge of the tax system;
- HONESTY and integrity in all decisions and interactions, consistent with our values, policies and external regulations.
