Purpose of Role/Summary:

The Junior AI Specialist will be part of the AI Team at Ingot, which is responsible for prototyping innovative solutions utilizing artificial intelligence across all areas of the business. The team collaborates closely with product, data operations, and infrastructure departments to drive AI initiatives that enhance business performance and efficiency.

The role involves exposure to a broad range of technologies, including classical machine learning models, deep learning models, and generative AI applications. The Junior AI Specialist is expected to contribute knowledge of trading, financial markets, and financial modeling, while developing advanced skills in machine learning and generative AI during their tenure.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

• Build proof-of-concept (POC) AI applications within the company under the supervision of Senior Specialists
• Support the training, testing, and maintenance of predictive and prescriptive analytics models
• Test and evaluate new features of the internal AI platform
• Collaborate with relevant teams to identify and implement AI-based improvements across business operations
• Any other duties that are requested and relevant to the role
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Intermediate proficiency in Python programming
• Strong foundation in statistics
• Understanding of financial markets
• Basic knowledge of risk modeling and market modeling
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Scikit-learn (considered an advantage)
• Basic Git knowledge
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional and multicultural teams
• Willingness to receive feedback and contribute constructively to team discussions
