Your contribution:

  • You are the legal expert for the development and implementation of our AI technologies and products, and you ensure that all legal requirements including those of data protection laws and ethical standards for the use of AI are complied with.
  • You will review and draft contracts, privacy policies and terms of use to ensure the legal protection of our AI projects.
  • You will actively participate in the development of quality management processes and governance structures to meet the requirements of the EU AI Regulation and other national and international AI regulations, including those for medical devices.
  • You will work closely with our development teams and train employees on legal issues related to AI.
  • You will also be responsible for working with external law firms and consultants.

What you bring along:

  • Professional experience in a comparable position, for example in a specialized law firm or an internationally operating company, ideally with a focus on technology/IT law or data protection law
  • Completed law studies and admission as a lawyer (m/f/d) in Germany
  • Sound knowledge of data protection and IT law, ideally experience with legal issues relating to AI as well as knowledge of German and/or international copyright law is a plus
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Excellent communication skills, a proactive way of working and a good understanding of new technologies such as cloud and AI
