Junior Administrative Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support both the Payroll and Accounting functions of our Finance department. This is an ideal role for someone at the beginning of their career who is looking to build a strong foundation in administrative and financial operations. You’ll be responsible for routine data entry and clerical tasks, helping ensure smooth and accurate processing of payroll and accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Support
•    Assist in collecting and verifying employee information for payroll processing
•    Enter payroll-related data such as hours worked, leave, and changes to compensation
•    Maintain and update employee records in payroll systems
•    Help respond to basic payroll-related questions from staff
•    Support monthly payroll runs in coordination with internal teams or external providers
Accounting Support
•    Enter financial data such as receipts, and expenses into the expenses system
•    Help organize and maintain financial records and files
•    Support with tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
•    Assist with administrative tasks during month-end or year-end closing processes
 

Skills & Qualifications:
•    MBO/HBO level education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
•    Previous internship or office experience in an administrative or finance-related role is a plus
•    Good data entry skills and strong attention to detail
•    Good with MS Excel and basic finance tools 
•    Strong organizational and communication skills
•    Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
