Role: Junior Accountant
We are seeking a mature. energetic, proactive individual to join the Beta Loaf team as a junior accountant at their Matuu town location. This role is fully onsite, as such, potential candidates must be willing to relocate to Matuu town.
Location: Matuu Town off Thika-Garissa Highway
Duties & Responsibilities
Daily sales reconciliation
Prepare daily sales reports
Cash/Bank reconciliation
Daily Raw materials balances stock taking & reconciliation(stock controls)
Posting cash sales in QuickBooks
Posting of invoices to the system
Follow-up and resolve invoice queries externally and internally.
Reconciliation of accounts payables and receivables
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor Degree in finance/accounting/ economics or related field
CPA I or II added bonus
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting with at least 1 years in the FMCG space
Experience using Quickbooks added bonus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Proactive individual with a professional attitude
Excellent organizational and time management
Ability to multitask with obsessive attention to detail
Skills Required
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
- CPA I or II
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting
- At least 1 year of experience in the FMCG sector
- Experience using QuickBooks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Proactive professional attitude
