Role: Junior Accountant

We are seeking a mature. energetic, proactive individual to join the Beta Loaf team as a junior accountant at their Matuu town location. This role is fully onsite, as such, potential candidates must be willing to relocate to Matuu town.

Location: Matuu Town off Thika-Garissa Highway

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Daily sales reconciliation

  • Prepare daily sales reports

  • Cash/Bank reconciliation

  • Daily Raw materials balances stock taking & reconciliation(stock controls)

  • Posting cash sales in QuickBooks

  • Posting of invoices to the system

  • Follow-up and resolve invoice queries externally and internally.

  • Reconciliation of accounts payables and receivables

  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree in finance/accounting/ economics or related field

  • CPA I or II added bonus

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting with at least 1 years in the FMCG space

  • Experience using Quickbooks added bonus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Effective oral and written communication skills 

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative 

  • Proactive individual with a professional attitude

  • Excellent organizational and time management

  • Ability to multitask with obsessive attention to detail

Skills Required

  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
  • CPA I or II
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting
  • At least 1 year of experience in the FMCG sector
  • Experience using QuickBooks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Proactive professional attitude
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to relocate to Matuu Town and work fully onsite
