The Junior Accountant is a member of the Skopje based global accounting team. The global accounting team is in charge of all accounting, cash, tax, and financial audit activities for MAK-System globally. As such, the junior accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial accounting activities for the countries or regions assigned to them. The role is responsible for operating with accuracy and transparency in all matters connected to financial administration as well as contributing to the overall efficiency and smooth running of the Finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Billing for our various global entities
• Chasing debtors to optimise collection performance
• Revenue Accounting
• Use of translation tools when dealing with customers in different languages
• Participating in group audits and providing documentation in a timely manner
• Adherence to global statutory financial and company secretarial deadlines
• Undertaking other tasks including general administrative duties as may be required from time to time
• Maintaining accurate records relating to financial administration
• Providing accurate and timely data to the Head of Accounting, FP&A Manager, Chief Financial Officer or Chief People Officer

Previous Experiences/Qualifications:

• Full qualified accountant
• High attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize tasks, and manage workload effectively
• Ability and willingness to contribute to a positive, effective and efficient team environment
• Strong excel and numerical skills
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbally and in writing)
• Proactive and self-motivated, especially when dealing with new and/or challenging situations
• Experience and confidence with Financial Software (Netsuite experience is a plus).
