Position Summary
We are looking for a new Junior Accountant to join our team!
Role and Responsibilities
- Bank Statements posting in SAP – Slovenia/Serbia
- Invoices posting in SAP – Slovenia/Serbia
- Validating accounting records in SAP for Serbia and Slovenia for invoices posted by Shared Service Center
- Administration tasks related to Shared Service Center (sending invoices for posting, providing explanation, etc.)
- Daily status of invoices sent to Shared Service Center
- Participation in weekly payment preparation for Serbia and Slovenia
- Administrative tasks related to cooperation with the Banks
- Fixed asset management, Inventory and Fixed Asset inspection for Serbia and Slovenia
- General ledger records and clearing GL accounts for Serbia and Slovenia
- Vendor open items report review and clearing for Serbia and Slovenia
- Preparation and checking Benefit in kind report for Serbia and Slovenia
- SAP vs local accouting G/L reconciliation
- General and additional accruals validation
- AP reconciliation
- cards management for Slovenia
- Participation in monthly, quarterly and yearly closing process
- Cooperation with accounting agencies in Serbia and Slovenia
- AD Hoc Reports for Serbia and Slovenia
- Other tasks per direct manager request
Skills and Qualifications
- University degree, preferable in area of economics
- 1-3 years of experience in General Accounting and financial reporting, preferably in international company
- Upper-intermediate command of English
- Advanced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules is an advantage
- Ability to analyze complex data
- Excellent organization, co-ordination, and time-management skills
- High ability to set priorities
- Focused on solving problems, with expressed flexibility
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to cooperate with different teams
- Orientation to details
