Role Overview
Interpath Advisory is seeking a highly qualified and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Finance and Accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to work in an international environment within an innovative and fast-growing organisation.
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements. You will also perform financial analysis and provide insights into key performance indicators and financial trends.
You will contribute to the preparation and review of budgets, forecasts and financial models to support decision-making processes. You will also ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and relevant regulations, while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
- Perform financial analysis and provide insights into key performance indicators and financial trends.
- Prepare and review budgets, forecasts and financial models to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to the accuracy and quality of financial information and reporting.
Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Strong attention to detail and a rigorous approach to work.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Good analytical skills and ability to interpret financial information.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and applicable accounting standards.
- Ability to work effectively in an international and fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience in an international organisation.
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience with budgets, forecasts and financial models.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and financial regulations.
