Your role at Clorox:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team supporting U.S. operations. This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a desire to grow within a dynamic, international environment.The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting daily accounting activities, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and contributing to month-end close processes in compliance with U.S. accounting standards.

Support daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and transaction processing
Assist in month-end and year-end close activities
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in the U.S.
Assist with audits and provide required documentation
Participate in process improvement initiatives within GBS

1+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance roles
Advanced English level
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data handling)
Preferred qualifications:
Strong understanding of accounting principles (preferably US GAAP)
Experience with ERP systems is a plus (SAP S/4HANA preferred but not mandatory)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
